Heading to Superbooth 2026

The Groove Synthesis team is heading back to Berlin for Superbooth, May 7-9 at FEZ. You’ll find us at booth O246 with the full 3rd Wave family set up for hands-on quality time.

It’s been a great first year for our newest product, the 8M: a 2026 Sound On Sound awards nomination, strong reviews across the synth press, and artists like Julian ‘J3PO’ Pollack creating great music with it.

What We’ll Have at the Booth

All three 3rd Wave models will be set up and ready to play: the flagship 24K keyboard, the 24M desktop module, and the compact 8M. If you’ve been considering a 3rd Wave but aren’t sure which one is right for you, this is the place to explore which one best fits your setup and needs. We’ll walk you through the differences, our favorite features and sounds across the range, and answer whatever questions you bring.

Co-founder and DSP designer Bob Coover will be at the booth all three days, alongside Director of Operations Erik Papp. If you want to go deep on how the instruments work, Bob is the person to talk to. If you’ve got feature requests, ideas, or feedback as an owner, that conversation matters to us, too. A lot of what’s shipped in the 3rd Wave’s OS updates over the past year, including the unified program data, sample workflow improvements in OS 1.9a, and the refinements in OS 1.9c, came directly from owner feedback.
