The compact 8-voice synthesizer brings the distinctive 3rd Wave sound to a broader audience at $1,999 USD.
Since its announcement in May, the 3rd Wave 8M has generated significant interest from producers, composers, and performers seeking premium synthesis capabilities in the new compact desktop format. The 8M delivers the same uncompromising sound quality and deep synthesis options that have made the flagship 24-voice 3rd Wave models favorites among keyboardists and sound designers alike.

The 3rd Wave 8M features the complete 3rd Wave sound engine with eight voices of polyphony, bi-timbral operation, and patch compatibility with the 24-voice models. Each voice includes three oscillators capable of wavetable synthesis, virtual-analog, linear FM, and sampling, all processed through individual premium analog filters and output stages that deliver the warm, expansive character that defines the Groove Synthesis sound.
The streamlined desktop format focuses on performance-oriented controls while featuring a larger 7-inch display with six context-sensitive encoders for intuitive access to deep sound design capabilities. Four balanced outputs and MIDI I/O via DIN and USB provide flexible integration options for studio and live applications.
