The Complete 3rd Wave Lineup

This is the first NAMM where we’ll have all three 3rd Wave models on display together: the flagship 24-voice 24K keyboard, the 24M desktop module, and the compact 8M that started shipping last summer.

All three share the same sound engine with five synthesis methods per oscillator: PPG wavetables, modern wavetables, virtual-analog, linear FM, and sampling. Each voice gets its own Dave Rossum-designed 2140 analog filter and output stage. The difference is in the form factor and voice count, which means you can find the 3rd Wave that fits your setup and budget without compromising on sound quality.

“Whether you’ve been following us since the beginning or you’re just discovering what we’re about, stop by and spend some time with these instruments,” said Bob Coover, co-founder and DSP designer at Groove Synthesis. “We built them to inspire, and the best way to understand that is to get your hands on the keys and knobs.”
