How does the compact 8M compare to the full 24-voice 3rd Wave, beyond just voice count?
The 8M runs the same filters, effects, sequencer, and Dave Rossum-designed 2140 analog filter as the 24-voice models, so it’s the same sound, just with fewer voices (8 instead of 24) and fewer parts (2 instead of 4).
