How do I navigate the display or preview a screen without changing its value, and how do I get back to the home screen quickly?
Hold down the COMPARE button while you move a control (turn a knob, press a button, etc.) to preview or jump to that control’s screen without changing its value or triggering its function — for example, hold COMPARE and press ARP ON to view the Arp settings without stopping the arp, or hold COMPARE and turn the PROGRAM knob to return to the main screen without changing programs. There’s also a GLOBAL setting, “Return home if inactive,” which — when enabled — automatically returns the display to the main home screen after a short period of control inactivity. We also added a dedicated shortcut: double-pressing the GLOBAL button immediately jumps to the home screen.
