My unit freezes or isn’t recognized when connected to Windows via USB — what could cause this?
A known cause is a conflict with the Samsung Magician disk utility software running on the connected computer, which can cause the synth to freeze once connected via USB. If installed, stop the Samsung Magician Windows service before connecting via USB. This has since been fixed on the synth side — after updating to firmware 1.8f or later, Samsung Magician should be able to run without interfering.
